I get it, personal training is an expensive investment. Why would you pay someone to show you how to exercise when you could do the same thing at home or follow a generic plan online?
Very simply, for the same reason you hire a mechanic to work on your car or a contractor to work on your house. You can find videos and detailed instructions on how to change the oil on your car or replace a leaky sink faucet online, but think about how much time you need to invest to do that research. What about the materials? Will you ever use that pipe wrench again? What happens if you miss an important step? Forget to re-plug the oil pan? Whoops! How long will it take you to complete your project? No matter how much you learn and how detailed the instructions, you will (most likely) never be as proficient as a professional.
A personal trainer takes the guesswork out of training. No research, no wasted materials, and no wasted time. Not only that, but a good personal trainer will help you to not only reach your immediate goals, but inspire you for a lifetime.
As your personal trainer, I am committed to your complete well-being. You are more than just a body, but an individual worthy of respect, support, and dignity.
You only get one body to last your lifetime. Treat it well.
